St. Mabyn C of E Primary School is a very happy small village school located between Bodmin and Wadebridge in North Cornwall. The school aims to create a caring, welcoming and stimulating learning environment.
We can offer the children a warm and friendly personal introduction to their school lives by being an "extended family".

The school has been extensively modernised to provide a large infant classroom which was added in 1991 and a new Reception and Secretary`s Office in 2002. The old school house has been transformed to create an ICT suite, staff room and administration accommodation.

We are very fortunate to have two playgrounds enabling children of different ages and interests to play separately. One playground area is marked with a Netball and short tennis court and furnished with picnic tables and a low level fitness trail. While the other playground is marked with playground games. Adjacent to the school is a large field used for all sport and recreation. During the winter months the nearby village hall is used for Physical Education. The children visit the Dragon Leisure Centre in Bodmin weekly for swimming lessons. We visit the Church three times a week for school Assemblies. Major school functions, such as Presentation Evening, are also held there.
